Welcome to Expense Tracker. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Expense Tracker application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Expense Tracker, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of the Service
Expense Tracker is a personal expense management application that allows users to record, organize, and review their expenses.
The service may allow users to:
- Register and authenticate an account.
- Sign in using Google.
- Sign in using email-based authentication.
- Record personal expenses.
- Manage bank account information.
- Manage credit card information.
- Record cash expenses.
- View expense summaries.
- Optionally connect a Google email account for expense tracking.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for maintaining the security of your account.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
4. Google Sign-In
Expense Tracker may allow you to authenticate using your Google account.
When you choose Google Sign-In, you authorize Google to provide Expense Tracker with the account information necessary to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, and profile photo where available.
5. Optional Google Email Access
Expense Tracker may offer an optional feature that allows users to connect their Google email account for expense identification.
If you enable this feature, you authorize Expense Tracker to request read-only access to your email account.
This access is used to identify relevant financial transaction information and assist with expense tracking.
You may choose not to use this feature.
6. User Content
You retain responsibility for the information you enter into Expense Tracker, including expense records and financial information.
You should only provide information that you are authorized to provide and that is necessary for using the service.
7. Financial Information
Expense Tracker is an expense tracking and organization tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, banking, or legal advice.
Expense calculations and summaries are provided for informational and personal organization purposes.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account.
- Interfere with the operation of the service.
- Attempt to access data belonging to another user.
- Abuse or misuse Google authentication or email access.
- Use the application to violate applicable laws or regulations.
9. Service Availability
We attempt to keep Expense Tracker available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, or circumstances outside our control.
10. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Expense Tracker account.
Upon account deletion, associated account information and stored expense information will be deleted according to our data deletion process and applicable legal requirements.
11. Privacy
Your use of Expense Tracker is also governed by our Privacy Policy .
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service when necessary to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements.
